  1. Create a fold in the rope.
  2. Wrap the folded end around the backside of the mount on your pulling vehicle, pulling plenty of rope around so you have enough to work with.
  3. Create a loop in the load end of the rope (the end attached to your tarp).
  4. Pass the folded end over the front of the mount and down through the top of the loop.
  5. Pull the folded end completely through the loop.
  6. Wrap the folded end back over the load end of your rope.
  7. Pass the folded end underneath and back through the loop.
  8. Pull the folded end through the loop completely.
  9. Pull the folded end snug.
  10. Pull the load end and folded end of the ropes at the same time to tighten the knot.
